If anyone wants to watch this kind of thing play out in real time, I'd recommend that they get an EVE Online account and pull up a seat. What transpires there greatly resembles the examples given in this article. You really can't take contemporary politics seriously after you notice that it is 2-4 years downstream from Eve ops.
