Since it's not obvious, you should add a comment as to how this relates to "refining the art of human rationality."

Human rationality means all of humanity, not just the privileged strait white cis males.

80%. Kind of depressing. I remember when he was controversial but sane.

Downvoting appears to be temporarily disabled; I didn't notice the change, but I'm guessing it was turned off to prevent his other abuses and this is him burning the commons in retaliation.

Possible, if extreme solution: Decentralize modding. Give whoever's on the last 30 days top karma and has been around long enough to be identifiable the right to nuke posts on their own judgement. Precedent: that's more or less how Eliezer inaugurated the first set of mods, though the reference escapes me at the moment.

To gloat is the mindkiller, but it's fun to see how pathetic this attempt has been.
On the other hand, to rebalance karma, I've tried to post a sane reply.

“You don’t get to sit there and say he hasn’t been racist when objectively he has.”

In a sense, it's not difficult to define racism: discrimination motivated by one's ethnicity. I think, netting signalling and tribal outrage, that it is quite obvious why it's bad for our society, but that it also has to be measured by how much effect a source of racism has on society.
Since one doesn't get infinite effort, it's logical to spend said effort first on the battles that are real and important.

The topic of "can speech be racist" is more in a gray area. Obviously it can, but also we know more than anyone else that speech is often employed only for its social function, although clearly racist speech elevates the probability of racist actions, even if only unintentional.
