I sometimes write simulations. I have never bothered simulating an afterlife.

"evidence" is far too strong a word for theories and models.  I think your reasoning is flawed in that this kind of afterlife makes two leaps rather than one: someone has to be simulating you AND that someone has to think it's worth simulating an afterlife that's different from the "base" reality (which has none).

The anthropomorphic argument goes against afterlife, too.  Presumably, afterlife lasts a whole lot longer than life, and has far more experienced moments than life.  You're experiencing life, which should be very rare if there's an afterlife that's so much bigger.
