I totally agree with the beginning of your comment. It will definitely help, but if the OP thinking is "When I will be sexier, I will finally be worthy of love from women", then I would be cautious, and address that feeling of unworthiness too.

A book that has been super helpful for me in these situation is "When I say no I feel guilty" by Manuel J. Smith. His "Broken Record" technique works especially well in the salesperson situation.
