One little thing, Mr. Yudkowsky, a bit off subject. But then again, capital punishment was a bit off subject. No, the convict cannot learn from his mistakes when we kill him. The fact is, he never learned from his mistakes, and that is why we are killing him. He likes the way he is, and wants more of it. Not all killers, and not even most killers. But then,few killers are executed.
