I'm going to make some pull requests, but I can only suggest what I know about. Perhaps you can help?

We need a general mechanism to be able to link some Github repositories to the community here. I have previously said that the best textbooks post should be migrated, and I have seen quite a number of “aggregation” posts in the forums. See, e.g., this podcast list.

One solution is to add ability for a post to use the markdown from an external URL. This, plus tagging the “aggregation” posts, plus showing some tags like this as a section on the frontpage, will pretty much solve the problem. Can someone ping an admin to pitch in on this?
