Hi, I thought it might be interesting to some here to take note of the 3M subscriber YouTube channel "Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan" posting an hour-long news room style podcast/documentary/report about the rationalist movement (in the context of Ziz, but covering it much more generally).

Full disclaimer that I am a personal fan of Andrew for his investigative 'on-the-streets' political coverage. He is not a tech guy by any means, and neither is his audience.
Thus it seemed interesting and noteworthy to me that he is reporting on the Rationality/EA sphere from a non-tech point of view, seemingly as part of a larger trend of more generalized public awareness of Rationalism.

In my eyes, the relevant parts of the video are quite substantial and well-researched for a non-involved point of view, covering:
Extropian/transhumanist predecessors of Rationality, early involvement with Musk, Altman and OpenAI, EA, Scott Alexander and Eliezer Yudkowsky, Bay Area group houses, core arguments for AI safety and worries about AI x-risk, intellectual diversity within the community, 'median' Rationalist views of libertarian techno-utopianism coupled with heavy concern for AI safety, and much more.

The relevant coverage starts at around 11:52 in the video.
