I'm planning a study retreat this week and building my structure based on this comment [LW · GW], but it would be useful to hear from others who have done this before.

Here are a few questions I'd like answers to, but really free-form answers on anything you consider important is useful!

1. What are the constraints you put on yourself?
2. What type of goal do you set for the retreat, if any?
3. Do you plan retreats for narrow or vague explorations?
4. What works for you? What doesn't?
