The keynote and general interest talks from HLAI 2018 [LW · GW] are available online, along with a few others. Sadly the panel I participated in was not fully recorded, but there is a short video of an excerpt of it. If you want to watch just one video I think the most relevant one to folks here will be the panel discussion on beneficial AI.

Mostly the folks at HLAI are not EA aligned and those that are EAs are not necessarily act utilitarians. I think EA is a lot bigger than act utilitarianism these days (if it wasn't I wouldn't think of myself as part of EA!), and the main way EA is interacting with these folks is through doing things to move beneficial AGI within the Overton window. That said there is some notable overlap (there are at least 2 EAs on the beneficial AI panel and maybe more closeted ones).
