Is there a good way to read deep into LW comment histories on mobile?

I sometimes like going through and reading a user’s comments, for those who make particularly good ones. But my mobile browser (Safari) loves refreshing pages when I haven’t been to the page for an hour. When this happens, I have to re-scroll down, and my current expedition requires minutes of scroll-click Load More-scroll to get back to where I was. I think Chrome on mobile does this too. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this better? (I really prefer reading on my phone).

You could try using Greaterwrong.com and see if they're viewer is easier to find your place again. I'll see what else I can think of.

Just tried it; works perfect! Since it pages comments, the refresh won’t lose my place. Thanks!

The experience on mobile is bad enough (clicking brings up windows that can't be easily dismissed, wierd bugs where expanding a comment marks others as read, etc.) that this is a site that I just don't read except on desktop.

Interesting! I haven’t noticed any other issues on mobile except the refreshing (which is a problem on all infinite-scrollers; I have the same problem reading through a user’s page on Quora) and not being able to hyperlink text when commenting.
