Claremont Meetup

I got into Harvey Mudd, and will be attending the Admitted Students Program from April 10th-11th.

Anyone want to do a Claremont Meetup on those dates? Or the 12th.

I didn't post this on the front page because I'm not actually in Claremont, nor do I know people there, nor do I even know where would be a good place/time to meet.

I've reserved the Platt Conference Room (same place as the previous HMC LW meetings have been) from 2 to 8 on Sunday. Staying later than that wouldn't be a problem, and we can either get some food from one of the cafeterias around here or order takeout from somewhere.

Eep. Admitted Student's Reception doesn't let me off until 8:30 PM. I guess I'll just meet up with you guys towards the end of it, and then maybe go to some of the student things (I'm eying those dance lessons).

We are looking into getting a room at Harvey Mudd for Sunday the 10th. We have had a few successful meet ups there before.

Awesome. Are you writing the notice then?

I'm kind of torn between hanging out with other admitted students and my host, and attending.

This wouldn't be an issue on Monday, but I understand it might be hard for people to come then.

Congratulations!

I'm pretty sure there are people in and around the Claremont Colleges, and it really helps to pick a date and location and stick with them - even if it's just "the Harvey Mudd Cafeteria" at 7 on the 10th. There's no reason not to post on the front page.
