I'm really glad to hear there's a sizable number of LWers in the non-english speaking world!

Bangalore's the IT and outsourcing hub in India. And a lot of us here are immigrants from the other parts of the country who speak different languages, so English is actually the one language we have in common.

Ah yes, I guess India is a big place. How big are your meetups? What do you guys normally talk about/do at them?

We had eight people turn up at the last one. Which was mostly just introductions and getting to know how we found Less Wrong etc.
Need to plan activities for the next ones though. Any tips/ideas would be welcome. :)

Make sure to skim the relatively short lw-organizer's mailing list archives as well as ask questions there if you have trouble. More generally, this is useful.
