i have had this idea recently from discussing with fellow rationalists. please critique as your mind sees fit:

the world can be separated into things that exist inin of themselves and the relations between these things ---this division although not fundamental is useful. as the only way things can have relations is if they are part of the same object.---

the principle that relations or a change in relations can only create new relations can be established based off the fact that something cannot come from nothing. in other words, if some that is not itself came from relations that would be substance being created which is necessarily impossible as that would essentially mean something can come from nothing, a new property being created that is non-relational is therefore impossible.

based on this precept it can be established that anything that is known to exist is either the relation itself or something that is non-relational.

we know that consciousness exists because of a modified version of Descartes je Pense donc je suis: there is experience therefore there must be experiencer.

based off this the experiencer is either relational or non relational. since the ability to experience is a binary and a property the experiencer is either a thing or a property of a thing.

again critique as you see fit
