We aim to connect Rationalists from Karlsruhe (Germany) and surrounding areas. We are always happy to get to know new people and new perspectives(!). Please feel free to drop by even if you feel awkward about it, or are not ‘the typical LessWrong / SSC reader'.
Let's meet outside again and continue to read and discuss this curated collection (The Codex) [? · GW] of posts by Scott Alexander. This time, we continue with Categorisation and Concepts [? · GW], reading the articles The Categories Were Made For Man, Not Man For The Categories [LW · GW] and The noncentral fallacy - the worst argument in the world? [LW · GW].
Schedule:
- Socializing
- Discussion about the essays
- + maybe: talk about organization of the group and coordination with EA group
As the weather seems nice, we will again meet in the Schlossgarten (roughly here, 49°00'52.4"N 8°24'06.7"E, https://goo.gl/maps/hWV1EsXongbaRctq6) at 18:00.
In case of bad weather an alternative location will be proposed at least a few hours before the meetup.

There might be rain / thunderstorm. In this case we will meet at a private place. PM me if you are new, but still want to join.
