Discussion article for the meetup : LessWrong Scotland

WHERE: Curler's Rest, 256-260 Byres Rd, Glasgow G12 8SH

After a successful trial meetup (five people!) in November, this will be the first meetup of 2015.

We don't have a definite plan yet, but we had some suggested activities last time - rationality games or show-and-tell style talks on what techniques we like. I think bentarm may volunteer!

I'm a long-time lurker, possibly registered before but forgot my username. Hopefully my actual name is a bit more memorable. Please let me know when there will be any more meetups north of the wall!

Hi,

I am brand new to LW (this is my first comment!) and have only just started reading the sequences. I'd love to meet up with some fellow rationality-enthusiasts, but am not likely to be able to make this meet-up (I will negotiate with my other half, you never know).

Any future gatherings in Edinburgh would be most welcome, though. Keep me informed if any are being arranged.

Maybe get the 13:30 from Waverley?

It's an easy trip on the Glasgow Underground from near Queen St to Hillhead / Byres Rd.
