I think the data says it is safe enough to meet outdoors, especially with the low underlying rate of infections in Hungary.
I'm hoping to get a general SSC/LW/EA group to meet here every month or so.
I'm a professional fan fiction writer, so I'll start the meeting with a short discussion of examples of people writing fiction influencing the world (like how Methods of Rationality has been a big deal).
And after that perhaps we could discuss this classic article from the sequences https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/9weLK2AJ9JEt2Tt8f/politics-is-the-mind-killer [LW · GW]
and this reply written a decade later,
https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/K7k9bT5x3Pz7EGTAu/has-politics-is-the-mind-killer-been-a-mind-killer [LW · GW]
So there will be at least two of us (and hopefully more) at Champs bar on Margit Island at 2pm next Sunday. I'll put out a big copy of one of Richard Dawkins books in Hungarian that I got from a friend on the table as a signal that I'm there. So I hope to see you all there.

Please note that the previous day (Saturday 18th) there is also a meetup in Vienna [? · GW].

The distance between cities is 2 1/2 hours by train, so you can visit both meetups.
