ETA: The meetup is going to take place on November, 10th, 15:00. I'll be there. In case you don't find the place or something, here's my number: 0157 39606835
As far as I can tell, there never has been a Lesswrong meetup in Cologne. This is a shame, considering that Cologne has over 1 million inhabitants.
I recently moved here from Munich (where I already attended 3 Lesswrong Meetups) to study and would like to meet folks who are also interested in Lesswrong and related topics. Regarding the content and structure of the meetup: I would suggest that at first each of us proposes some discussion topics he or she is interested in (e.g. epistemic rationality, effective altruism, far future/FAI, practical life tips, etc.) and then we choose the most popular ones. And simple socializing and getting to know each other is also great, as far as I'm concerned.
Here is a link to a doodle survey (http://doodle.com/3ms7afrniqxb5i7e), in which you can put your favorite date. I prefer Sundays, but if nobody can attend on Sundays, we can probably change the date.
Please, please leave a comment if you're interested in a LW meetup in Cologne, even if you can't attend one in the next weeks/months.
And remember, (almost) everyone is welcome, especially newbies!

What a pity I missed that! How did the meetup go? Is there another NRW meetup planned? Would anybody like to play a round of "Paranoid debating"?

In my opinion it went good. Maybe I'll organize another meetup in january or february. Sure, we can play "Paranoid debating".

Me and my girlfriend will most likely be there! We've been thinking of starting something ourselves :)

Awesome, a meetup in Cologne. I'll try to be there, too. :)

I am living in Bielefeld, which is a bit far away to attend on a regualr basis, but I will try to visit on a future occasion if possible.

I'm on a business trip, so I won't be around for this one, but I'm definitely interested in future events.

Thank you for this constructive criticism. In my defense: I changed the date at least a week ago.
However, on Saturday someone brought to my attention that the dates in the summary-post of LW meetups by FrankAdamek and on the right side of the LW surface did not reflect this change, so I wrote to him about this problem. He probably changed the official date some hours later so you got the impression that I changed it on Saturday.
Generally, I thought that people would follow the link where they could see that the date was changed.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Next time somebody with better organizing abilities should arrange the meetup. I hate organizing this kind of stuff and only did so because apparently nobody else was willing to set up something like this.

No hard feelings. In your position I would have been pissed off, too. I also apologize for the ironic, first sentence, but I couldn't resist. ;)
Hope to see you a week from Sunday!
