North Korea has still never publicly acknowledged any infections though most believe there are many. Some reports are indicating a massive problem for the regime.

China seems to have resumed returning North Koreans in China to their home county and cutting off further interaction with the country. That was attributed to fear of reigniting the outbreak.

Many countries have maintained both diplomatic ties with the NK, and allowed significant travel and trade between the countries despite UN or US sanctions.

Will one of the fall outs from the pandemic be near total isolation for that country if it continues on the path it currently is on? That seems reasonable -- and would seem to imply a very high cost in human life within the regime.
