It's difficult to produce a counterargument when the main argument is 'trust me bro'

The main argument seems to be (except for the all caps BUY STONKS NOW):

seems like in the language folks use round these stonky parts of town, one would call it a hedge, correct? my main safety-unsolved bet is foom never happened but we're all dead anyway in 5 years, so also betting "...but if we're not, maybe having my name written on some stonks contracts is helpful" might be an interesting thing to add to the list of things true in an alignment-unsolved world.
