I’m considering live-streaming (or just making a video) of myself doing this on a totally new topic to show how I do this in real-time, since it works so well for me. Let me know if you think this could be helpful.

 

I would definitely watch that! I have tried Anki only recently. So far, I have trouble because it lacks some form of spacial structure, and the algorithm feels too random to build meaningful connections btw different cards. Also, what type of card are you using for mathematical formulas?
