Velocity is the same as speed, where speed or velocity is a scalar which has magnitude only and size. A state of change of speed or velocity however is acceleration and is a vector, which has both magnitude (size) and direction, but don’t confuse angular momentum with direction, look into angular momentum. You can also have constant acceleration that is not to be confused with constant velocity which is in no way acceleration.
