Pondering whether my beliefs are an affective death spiral has led me to taboo the word "transhumanism" in my reflections: the ideas of transhumanism are not as strongly connected, are very emotional, and I don't encounter criticism of them very often, and when I do encounter criticism (in mental arguments) it causes me to be aggressive, manifesting itself in a not-so-ethical selection of arguments.
