...Yes, it does. When you lie, the ultimate consequence is that the person who is lied to DOES NOT KNOW what is really going on. Be honest and tell the person you do masturbate. When you refuse to answer, the person you are answering to DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON with your personal life.

To lie means to not let the other person KNOW what is really going on. Deception is one way. By saying something is true, but actually is not true, makes the person NOT KNOW what is really going on. Secrets is the second way. By not saying what is really going on, the person does NOT KNOW what is really going on. There are two types of Lies: 1) secrets and 2) deception.

So if you want to be truly honest, stop the secrets and deceptions. Spill the beans no matter how harmful it may be. Stop the coyness, the low key behind the scenes mentality, and be straight forward and out in the open. But with adults, it is not that simple. This honesty is the best policy is black and white simplicity from grade school. It never works in the adult world. Sometimes honesty is incriminating and can result in someone dead.

In the adult world, to lie is a fact of life. Lies and truths are equally important in the adult world, surprisingly. Adult life is shades of gray. Nothing is pure evil or pure good. It is a blend of both. Adults actually are a mixture of honesty and lies (i.e. secrets and deceptions) on a daily basis. It is part of human nature and survival. In business, in real estate, in law, and in politics.
