Hi, I'm here pretty much by chance ;] But I went through the post, and I have to ask: are you a physicist? ;] Physicists tend to speak about things of philosophical nature that they are settled by experiment A or B ;] Many Worlds Interpretation of QM is pretty heavy ontologically and I'm pretty confident that it's not necessary ;] Maybe this paper on one of competitive views might be interesting for you: http://www.npl.washington.edu/npl/int_rep/tiqm/TI_toc.html it's John G. Cramer's original paper on his Transactional Interpretation. Whether you might find it appealing or not, the paper contains some pretty clear remarks about meanings and roles of interpretations for theories. It even briefly evaluates Many Worlds Interpretation, which might be interesting for you ;]
