I believe I've spotted two typos, though forgive me if I'm wrong.

Should be "but which conveniently happens".

Since we are smarter, the citizens of Earth 1 would be incentivised to employ us

"Earth 1" should be "Earth 2" in this sentence, as 'we' are the citizens of the more intelligent 'Earth 1' who would be employed by the less intelligent citizens of 'Earth 2' because this offers a competitive advantage over employing other 'Earth 2'-ers.
