Agree - in relation to mind there is a lot of work on this in philosophy particularly by Dennett https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_realizability

I think that the potential to implement learning systems in media such as sound, water or light is underestimated as a potential step-change forward in AI technology. That's all!
