Not my favorite idea, sorry. Bandwidth doesn't make much sense unless you compare apples to apples in the time domain, and if you do that carefully I think you'll find that the conversion from space to time exactly cancels out the supposed extra factor of L in the scaling, assuming a constant speed of neural signals. In short, I'm pretty sure common sense prevails here, and the analogy to fractals is just kind of a distraction.
