I would personally recommend this story to anyone who likes science fiction and who also would like to become a parent.

Thank you. I've already read pretty much everything else Chiang wrote. He's great.

EDIT: just finished reading this. Slightly disappointed. It's good, but not as good as Greg Egan's "Crystal Nights".

I've already got the hardcover version for some time but haven't read it yet. Didn't expect that it would be made available for free. Oh well, thanks :-)
