I expect that the outcome is mostly "no magic", i.e. some people doing incremental progress on what they were doing before, some not even that... but that's okay, because I believe this is how things typically work in real life. Real-life magic doesn't happen overnight, but it mostly happens as a compound interest of months and years of incremental progress.
