I tried to use Roam about a month ago. I like the idea, but Roam has bugs, when I use it from PC, and wasn't working on my laptop at all. It is just not ready to invest time.

I am considering buying a household ozonizer. Only good quality ozonizer (there are many of them on the market, but they provide insufficient concentration).
Household ozonizers have a double effect:
1. Kill viruses and bacteria in the room, also preventing their reproduction and spread
2. Through breathing saturate the blood with ozone (O3), which enhances natural immunity.
In addition to air ozonation, there is also ozonation of water and oils - for gargling and drinking/food preparation.
When choosing an ozonizer as the "baseline", I consider the effectiveness of ozone when exposed to the influenza virus: it is argued that the virus dies 100% with an ozone concentration of 0.2 mg / m³ and an exposure of 60 minutes - this is much more effective than under the influence of bleach and quartz irradiation (by the way, buying a quartz lamp is also one of the options, possibly cheaper).
As for the models, the requirements satisfy -
1. "Living Air”, USA, EcoQuest, Fresh Air Model
2. Ukrainian ozonizer "Ozone OViV"
3. Hungarian ozonizer Bionet "SELBA", SM-316
and probably some more.
In Ukraine, the price for the corresponding ozonizer is $ 200-400 (depending on the model).

There is another type of disaster that is not mentioned: war.

Not nuclear war, but more or less "ordinary", or civil war.

I think, that most of those who read Less Wrong believe that civil war or neighboring country invasion is highly improbable for their countries, and that the chances of a nuclear strike are even higher.

I live in Eastern Ukraine, and when in 2014 the war began, it was a complete surprise and shock for everyone.

I live in the region adjacent to those where military operations are ongoing, and in 2014-2015 the question of preparing for some kind of emergency actions in case the war reaches us has become practical, not theoretical. My own plans (fortunately, the need to implement them did not arise) and communication with refugees showed that the most important are:

  • Car (old and reliable, because a new one will be confiscated) and gasoline supply
  • cash
  • friends or relatives (with whom you have a good relationship) who live in other cities or countries and are ready to help you start living in a new place
  • warm clothes for the whole family.
  • "alarm package" with documents and medicines.

And it is extremely important:

  • surround yourself with attentive, adequate and strong people. My first plan included a series of arrangements with friends who were also involved in martial arts. (In fact, all the agreements and the Plan began as a strategic game about what to do if zombies attack we played several years before.)
  • do not become attached: to home, things and work. Do not buy real estate as main investment in your future.

Yes it does. I was “hooked” by this whole idea also because screenwriting is a legacy of the theater, and theater, and the mysteries that preceded it, were used in ancient times as a “psychotherapeutic” tool. (If we have the right to say so).

I read the description of the ancient Egyptian mysteries (I don’t know to what extent it corresponded to the truth) - there in the first "acts" they talked about Osiris, his history, etc., always emphasizing his "sunny", "summer" nature. And at the very end of the mystery, the priest whispered in the ear of the initiate: "Osiris is a dark god." Even in a simple retelling, this phrase was to some extent a shock - at the same time as surprise and “synthesis”.

I want to share an exercise that I have been using for a long time - to integrate ideas and subagents (if to speak using multiagent model of mind)
